Introduction of our activities and projects

Green Consumer Campaign

We believe that environmental issues are nothing but a reflection of how we live our lives, and thus a solution should come out of something we can do in our daily lives. To change our consumption behavior more environmentally conscious, that is, to become a green consumer, is the easiest way to bring some changes in our daily life. We have published several guide books on the green consumerism which list what we should buy and where we can go to buy these items. Through these guide books as well as workshops which has been held several places throughout Japan, we encourage people to start something we can do without any special arrangement.

Specialized study and research groups

Other than Green consumerism study group, we have several study and research groups on specific topics such as Eco-tourism, Eco-City, the environmental issues and the economics of Asia and, environmental architecture. Each group has their own unique plans and projects, and through these research and study activities we deepen our knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the environment.

Building partnerships with government and corporation

According to the request from various organization, administrative governments and companies, we also plan to give lectures and seminars.
Recently we had a series of seminars on environmental economics aiming at business leaders, cooperated with the earth day events of a local department store and launched a unique project with a local railway company.

Other activities

We have just opened our home page on Internet, which made us accessible to the information about other environmental NGOs all over the world and what is going on now on global scale. This also made it possible to inform the people of the world of our recent activities as well as Japan's environmental movement.
